Spicycle version 2, a new release of the company's simulation program with integrated circuit emphasis (SPICE) for analog, mixed-signal, and RF designs, provides a wealth of new features. At simulation time, modifications made to the SPICE netlist can be back annotated to the schematic and any new components are automatically inserted, ready for manual placement.The new version supports a drag-and-drop facility that allows sections of a large drawing to be placed into a different drawing. Other new features include traditional multi-zone design rule checking, multi-zone copper fill, and a stripline calculator to help the tracking of microstrip lines.
