Field-Configurable Limit Alarms Are Easy To Calibrate

By employing firm's TouchCal pushbutton technology, the AC ActionI/Q family of limit alarms is said to be easy to calibrate. The family consists of dc input Model Q106, RTD input Model Q116, and temperature input Model Q126. The alarms are DIN rail mounted and ac powered. And the TouchCal feature provides up to 100% deadband adjustment for on/off control applications. Model Q106 is a field configurable, dual limit alarm capable of accepting dc voltage and current inputs from PLCs, DCSs, temperature transmitters, and virtually any other device producing signal spans from 20 mV to 100V and 1 to 100 mA. Model Q116 is a field configurable, dual limit alarm capable of accepting platinum, copper, nickel and nickel-iron RTDs. And Model Q126 is a field configurable, dual limit alarm capable of working with types B, C, E, J, K, N, R, S and T thermocouples.
