The PowerlinePlus series of dc-dc converters are the first to incorporate the ICE (Innovation in Converter Excellence) technology, a combination of techniques that minimize internal heat dissipation and maximize heat transfer to ambient. The result is modules with efficiencies of 90% to 92% at output powers of 20 W to 50 W. Case operating temperature range is ?45°C to 120°C. The converters feature built-in FCC/EN55022 Class B EMC filters and fully protected outputs. The six modules in the series include single- and dual-output versions with 20-, 30-, 40-, and 50-W outputs and input ranges of 2:1 and 4:1. Maximum ambient operating temperature without derating ranges from 81°C to 100°C, depending on output power. Galvanic isolation of up to 3000 V dc is available. The company can also provide customized versions. RECOM POWER INC., Brooklyn, NY. (718) 398-9700.
