Locking Lever Switch Prevents Accidental Actuation

A new locking lever switch allows the toggle to be locked in any of three positions to prevent unintentional actuation. Optimized for rugged environments, the 100 series K panel-mounted switch is intended for wide application in instrumentation, test circuits, and industrial control equipment. Constructed of plated brass and stainless steel, the 100 series K locking lever switch has a minimum electrical and mechanical life of 40,000 cycles. Three different functional options are available in SP, DP, 3P or 4P: on-none-on; on-off-on; on-on-on. Contacts on this switch can be copper alloy, silver-plated or gold-plated. Silver contacts are rated at 5A at 120 Vac or 28 Vdc or 2A at 250 Vdc. Gold contacts are rated at 0.4 VA at 20V ac or dc. Initial contact resistance is a maximum of 0.01Ω Overall switching dimensions for a single pole switch are 36.98 mm x 12.70 mm x 6.86 mm. Operating temperature ranges from –30°C to +85°C; dielectric strength is 1,000 Vac. E-SWITCH, Brooklyn Park, MN. (763) 504-3525.
