Low-Power Slide Switches Boast Of Long-Lasting Positive Detent Feel

Sept. 1, 1998

Designed for use in low-voltage, low-current applications requiring a positive detent feel, Series S62 slide switches employ a positive spring mechanism that is engineered in such a way that the detent feel will not diminish over an operational life of 5000 actuations. Other features of the switches include 120 microinches of gold plating on the contact roller, tinned solder pins, and complete sealing on all sides to protect the contact/roller mechanism from solder flux, moisture and dust.
