Low Voltage, Tiny Footprint MOSFETs Address Mobile Needs

Jan. 16, 2013
A new family of MOSFETs, designed in tiny and ultra-small packages, are optimized for portable wireless solutions such as tablet PCs, eReaders, smart phones, digital cameras, digital media players and ultrabook computers.
The AON16xx family of MOSFETs from AOS, designed in tiny and ultra-small packages, are optimized for portable wireless solutions such as tablet PCs, eReaders, smart phones, digital cameras, digital media players and ultrabook computers. Suited for load switch applications, the AON1605 and AON1606 utilize advanced trench MOSFET technology in a tiny DFN 1.0 x 0.6 package. Suitable for battery protection, as well as, load switch applications, the AON1611, AON1620 and AON1634 combine advanced trench MOSFET technology with a low resistance, ultra-small DFN 1.6 x 1.6 mm package to provide extremely low RDS(ON). Ultra low on-resistance reduces conduction losses, translating into lower power consumption and longer battery life. The compact footprint and less than or equal to 0.55 mm profile of both power packages enables more efficiency in space-constrained applications. The five new devices are immediately available in production quantities with a lead-time of 12 weeks. Prices range from $0.08 to $0.25 each/1,000.
