Voice/Audio Transformers Eye Low-Frequency Apps

Nov. 1, 1999

These SMT voice/audio transformers are targeted for use in telecomm products. Specifcially, they are designed for 600- or 900-ohm line impedance applications where they can match the needs of a variety of low-frequency audio and voice products in two-wire to two-wire and two-wire to four-wire hybrids. The transformers are optimized for low insertion loss and distortion while maintaining excellent return loss characteristics at frequencies down to 200 Hz.
