Consisting of seven LXI Class C instruments, the L4400 series debuts as the industry’s first LXI Unit, as per the LXI Consortium, for switching and control in a 1U, half-rack form factor. The instruments are small enough for placement wherever the application requires, and their remote capabilities and graphical web interface promises to reduce setup and troubleshooting time. Additionally, the L4400 provides a direct migration path from the 34980A and other existing LXI instruments and is part of a program that ensures industry-standard open connectivity in hardware and software. Features include Ethernet connectivity and an interface that provides full instrument control through a standard Web browser. Prices for switches and control instruments range from $1,506 to $2,800.
