The Model 7999-4 microwave switch and the Model 7999-5 16-channel controller are compact RS-232 programmable devices designed to simplify test setups, conserve rack space, and improve signal integrity in RF and microwave test configurations. The Model 7999-4 is a single-pole double-throw, 50-ohm switch capable of controlling signals from dc to 18 GHz. SMA connectors on the rear panel provide relay connections.
The Model 7999-5 has 16 open-collector channels for contol of relays, switches, programmable attenuators, and other components requiring up to 28 vdc at 300 mA for operation. The 16 channels are arranged as dual eight-channel banks to enable powering each bank from a different supply voltage. Outputs include suppression diodes. The Model 7999-4 costs $750 and the Model 7999-5 is priced at $495.
