Pete Semig, Manager, Texas Instruments
Pete Semig manages Texas Instruments (TI) general purpose amplifiers applications team. He has spent most of his career supporting op amps, difference amplifiers and instrumentation amplifiers. Most of his work has involved authoring TI Precision Designs, TI Precision Lab content and the Analog Engineer’s Circuit Cookbook with his expertise in the linear operating region of instrumentation amplifiers and general current sensing. Prior to joining TI in 2007, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. From 2001-2007, Pete was a faculty member in Michigan State University’s Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering where he taught a variety of courses and laboratories.
