Horticulture--growing plants in protected enclosures--is a $20 billion global industry and rising fast, for good reasons: up to eight growing seasons per year (and climbing), elimination of fertilizer, near-zero emissions, and many others. One of the most important contributors to this success story is LED lighting, whose unique benefits make it far better suited than traditional light sources. This Webinar provides a comprehensive description of LEDs, their use in horticulture and vertical farming, and how, along with automation and other advanced techniques, they are transforming this rapidly growing industry.
