Hello,
Among the bazillion other things our resident wizard, Bill Wong, is doing, he's been filling in the blanks on our missing archive copies of Electronic Design by scanning actual print mags into PDFs - yes, with all the changes of ownership and some IT fusterclucks in moving our servers a few times, we lost some of our hard-, and web-, copies of our magazines.
Some of our older articles, primarily in the 1990s and the first decade of this millenium, are also missing figures because of the IT problems, so we try to update those as we encounter them, but can only do so if we have an archive or print mag on hand.
Some readers have graciously provided a few more of the old EDs for us to scan in and add to the collection (the most recent additions are in the archives section, below), but if you have some old Electronic Design, Evaluation Engineering, or Power Electronics Technology mags sitting in a box, please give me a shout and we'll see if we can get those missing copies updated online for everyone, worldwide, to enjoy. Those latter two mags are totally missing as far as print copies that we have.
Yeah, I know - what a way to run a Navy - but this present-day crew is doing what we can to make it a richer experience for our readers. In January we're turning the corner into our 75th year...
thanks,
-andyT
p.s. I've also included a couple of cool video links that set the context for last week's Tesla Roadster 2.0 demo. It's been engineered by others in the past and there may be patents.
