Digi-Key Corp. is stocking up on its design and repair kits, including new releases from Molex and Littelfuse. All of these kits are now in stock and available for purchase on Digi-Key’s Web site, www.digi-key.com.
These releases include 216 connector kits from more than 70 unique Molex connector families and one heat-shrink tubing kit. The Molex kits provide solutions for virtually any interconnect challenge, Digi-Key says, targeting design engineers, technicians, maintenance repair and operations personnel, hobbyists, and students. Specifications, features and benefits, and applications vary from kit to kit.
The Littelfuse kits target the company’s transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diodes, which range from industry-standard package sizes of SMA to SMC with wattage ratings from 400 to 3000 W in compact surface-mount packages. The TVS diodes are designed to protect sensitive consumer equipment from voltage transients in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The kits include five pieces each of popular voltage values. A product training module is available as well.
