The restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment is regulated by Directive 2002/95/ECissued January 27, 2003, by the European Parliament and Council. This directive will become effective July 1, 2006 and impacts all suppliers in the electrical and electronic markets and industries.
