Location: Sands, Booth #72452

The Planon DocuPen RC800 color handheld scanner can achieve full-color 24-bit scanning in a compact and light form. The RC800 is capable of storing hundreds of pages into memory and takes just seconds to scan a page. The user chooses from multiple modes: black and white, standard color or high 24-bit color, and resolution from 100 to 400 dots per inch (dpi). The RC800 can scan letters, color documents, and pictures, and bring them into Paperport software (included with the DocuPen). Planon says that the DocuPen is different from other pen-sized scanners in that it scans a full page width, therefore scanning the entire page — including text and graphics — in as little as 4 seconds. In addition, the DocuPen can be used with or without being connected to a computer.
