A full speed USB 2.0 Windows-based battery analyzer, the model PCBA 5010-4 provides up to 50V and 10A through four independent channels in a compact, 200W package. The system is expandable up to 108 units, translating into 432 channels on a single USB port from a PC running Windows 98, 2000, XP, or Vista. It comes with an application integrating Microsoft’s Access for saving battery models, serial numbers, service programs, and test results for NiCd, NiMH, lead acid, and li-ion type rechargeable batteries ranging from one to 30 cells and up to 100 Amp-hour in size. The system is configurable to run independent of the PC/USB connection, incorporating a RTC, and storing up to 64 service records per channel in non-volatile memory. The analyzer operates from 90 to 260 Vac 50/60 Hz with a PFC input. It includes a 200W discharge section so that each channel or sum of channels can charge or discharge up to 200W of power and energy from batteries on discharge transfers that energy to batteries on charge.
