The DAS 100 data-acquisition system requires no PC to operate, is relatively low in cost and is easy to use for a non-technical novice. The system offers up to 48 input channels and non-volatile flash memory for data logging. It stores up to 3900 samples; data can be downloaded by modem, direct serial connection or via removable memory modules to popular spreadsheets.Housed in a weatherproof enclosure, the system holds up to six option cards for measuring dc voltage, dc current, ac voltage, ac current, frequency or temperature (using optional temperature probes or thermocouples and contact closures). The system is powered by the firm’s 24-MHz, 8-bit SBC. It’s suitable for industrial, commercial and renewable energy applications and offers a menu-driven setup user interface and Internet access.
