The latest HOBO wireless data nodes reportedly combine best-of-class data logging with wireless networking to lower the cost of data collection in energy and environmental monitoring apps. Unlike traditional data loggers, the HOBO nodes work together in a self-healing wireless network to transmit logged data to a PC at regular intervals. This eliminates the need to spend time retrieving data from individual loggers deployed throughout a facility. The nodes can measure temperature, relatively humidity, kilowatt hours, CO2, ac voltage and current, gauge pressure, and a variety of other parameters. ONSET COMPUTER CORP., Bourne, MA.
