Software Combines BASIC, Windows

HTBasic for Windows combines the programming ease of HP-style BASIC with the advanced features of the multitasking Windows environment. HP BASIC code can be ported to the Windows environment from HP workstations and vice versa.

HTBasic is designed to run under Windows 95 or Windows 3.1 and is implemented with 32-bit code. It is file-compatible with the DOS PC, DOS 386/486, HP 700, and Sun SPARCstation versions of HTBasic, and is also compatible with existing 386/486 CSUBs from TransEra’s Advanced Math Library, Numeric Compiler, and CSUBs produced with the HTBasic CSUB tool kit.

It supports most IEEE 488 interface cards, turning a PC into a Windows instrument controller. $925. TransEra, (801) 224-6550.
