The portable VXIbus Microrack provides space for up to six C-size VXI modules in an EMC-controlled and ready-to-run package. The Microrack measures 8″ x 17″ x 22″ and weighs 33 lb. It can be used in a desktop or tower configuration, or can be 19″ rack mounted by adding optional front mounting angles.
In addition to meeting the inter-module RFI screening requirements of the VXIbus specification, it provides an overall screened environment to help users meet forthcoming EMC regulations. It includes a Rev 1.4 compliant backplane and a 400-W power supply. Cooling is provided by two rear-mounted fans. $3,300. VERO Electronics, (800) 642-VERO.
