Testing capabilities for integrated cellular and integrated wireless communications semiconductors have been added to the HP 9490 series of mixed-signal testers. The HP RF9490 option is used in production test and wafer probing of chips with integrated RF, IF and mixed-signal functions.
Eight independent RF ports are capable of sourcing up to 3 GHz. Specialized RF hardware makes spectral, vector, modulation/demodulation and noise-figure measurements.
