High-Impedance Ferrite

The SS28B2035-3 high-impedance, multiturn FerriShield ferrite is a 1.25 x 1.23 x 1.25 inch bisected, snap-on design that offers three pass-through openings for cables with a diameter up to 0.203 inch. To boost impedance, a cable can be looped through one, two, or three of the ferrite openings. A single pass through the ferrite provides 340 Ω of impedance at 100 MHz. If the same cable is passed through additional holes, impedance is proportional to the square of the number of turns.
