Base station supports 2G/3G and developing 4G standards

The hand-held MT8222B BTS Master Base Station Analyzer incorporates a 20-MHz demodulation capability to measure LTE and WiMAX signals and a 30-MHz Zero-Span IF output for external demodulation of any other wideband signal. A vector signal generator option covers 400 MHz to 6 GHz and generates two simultaneously modulated signals plus noise.

The MT8222B also conducts two-port cable and antenna analysis from 400 MHz to 6 GHz. In the spectrum analyzer mode, the MT8222B has a 150-kHz to 7.1-GHz frequency range, low phase noise of typically -100 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset, low displayed average noise level of typically -163 dBm in 1 Hz RBW, and a wide dynamic range of >95 dB in 1 Hz RBW.

Options include a 140-MHz Zero Span IF output with 30-MHz IF bandwidth and a GPS receiver.
