Poised for automotive and industrial applications, the TLMx2100 10-mA and TLMx2300 20-mA MiniLED families are available in all typical wavelengths from 465 to 630 nm and produce brightness levels up to 120 mcd. The TLMx2100 LEDs come in super red (7.5 mcd), orange (7.5 mcd), yellow (7.5 mcd), green (10.0 mcd), pure green (2.2 mcd), and blue (7.0 mcd), while the high-intensity TLMx2300 LEDs come in ultra-bright red (80 mcd), orange (120 mcd), and yellow (120 mcd). Each LED is embedded in a white EIA- and ICE-standard package measuring 2.3 x 1.3 x 1.4 mm with a 120° angle of intensity and a non-diffused lens. The LEDs can operate over a 40°C to 100°C temperature range and their lead-frame promises to keep thermal resistance to a minimum. In 100,000-piece quantities, the new, bright MiniLEDs are priced from $7.50 to $25 per 100. For further information, call Paula Scinto at VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY INC.,Malvern, PA. (203) 445-5501.
