The RCA600 series of 600-W configurable ac-dc power supplies from ROAL Electronics combine a patent pending modular and user-configurable architecture with a 90% efficient design—giving users the ability to build a custom 600-W power supply in minutes.

The units come housed in a 3- by 5-in. form factor. Initial release of the RCA600 will include a 600-W ac chassis with four slots and three output modules offering 150-W output power at 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V. A simple voltage-adjustment feature helps configure customized 600-W single-, dual-, triple-, or quad-output power supplies from 1.5 V to 30 V.

System-level integration features include current share, 5-V bias supply, remote voltage and current programming, start-up voltage sequencing, N+1 redundancy, and global inhibit. The series carries UL60950 and EN60950 safety approvals and complies with EN61000-3, EN6100-4, and EN55022-B EMC standards.
