Anyone interested in the evolving energy efficiency standards and regulations can expand their knowledge at an online database offered by the Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA). The database is available through the Efficiency Database tab in the Energy Efficiency Forum on the PSMA’s web site. The information includes the various organizations — state, national, and worldwide — that are active in establishing energy efficiency standards and regulations for power supplies used in commercial applications. For each organization, the database includes the specific applications and the most recent status of the standards, identifies critical documents, meetings and milestones, and provides links to the appropriate web sites of the controlling organization. The association has contracted with Anagenesis Inc. to maintain and update the database on a regular basis. The database is open to anyone now, but will be restricted to PSMA members in the future.
