Switch/Motion Detector Comes Combined

Nov. 1, 1998

The 1248A non-contact speed switch/motion detector combination is a self-contained unit that operates on a simple two-wire circuit. The unit is wired in the same manner as a limit switch. This device is well-suited for sensing overspeed/underspeed conditions or counting targets within specific time frames and offers a wide range of features to meet different types of applications. The combination operates on 20 to 250 vac or vdc and electronically adjusts to input voltage with no settings required. A plug-in receptacle saves wiring time. Three speed ranges from 5 to 7500 ppm are user selected, and user-adjustable start time delay is from zero to 20 seconds. An LED indicates operation.
