Expanding the company’s Class 1 Division 2 approved products are five additions to the MICROSERIES family of relays. Designed for use in hazardous locations, the latest versions are all SPDT components with screw clamp terminations. They offer ratings of 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 24 VUC, 120 VUC, and 230 VUC. The three VUC relay versions accept ac as well as dc input signals, enabling the use of fewer relay variations. Each component includes inductive-kickback protection via an integrated RC circuit at the input. Reportedly, this guarantees a safe switching threshold, eliminating leakage currents on the control side. All MICROSERIES relays feature integrated polarity protection and LED status indicators.
