The Shark series of high-flux LED illuminators delivers a typical brightness of 55 lumens from a red device in the series. They are available in five standard colors: blue (470 nm), green (530 nm), amber (590 nm), red (630 nm), and white. Each device incorporates 50 LEDs die-mounted to a BeO substrate that is attached to a TO-66 package. They can provide continuous or pulse-mode illumination and operate on 300 to 800 mA. Half-power beam is ±54° typical and additional beam concentrators can be added to reduce the beam angle for enhanced, on-axis light intensity. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 100°C. Prices range from $29.50 to $67.50 each/1,000.
