By reportedly achieving extremely accurate and consistent chip centering, MTSP-312 LED is said to provide an ideal device for fiber optic and point source applications where external lensing is used. The device features a very high intensity, red-orange (623 nm) InGaAlP chip mounted very close to the top of a flat top, optical grade epoxy T-1-3/4 package- the T-1-3/4 package dimensions allow the device to be used with standard fiber optic coupler housings.
