Designed for industrial control and embedded systems applications, the DRP480 series DIN-rail mounted, enclosed switching power supplies has an output power level of 480W. The supplies accept a universal input from 85 to 265 Vac, while outputs are either 24 or 48 Vdc. The DRP480 provides active power factor correction to 0.98 and incorporates integral EMI Class B filtering. It is enclosed in a rugged metal casing for a high-density, low-width package. Both models in the series have an integral power-good LED indicator and an output adjustment potentiometer. Operating temperature ranges from –10°C to +55°C without forced cooling or output power derating. Both models also contain overvoltage and short circuit protection circuitry and are fully approved to UL508/TUV EN60950/CB safety specifications. Dimensions are 8.9"L x 4.9"W x 4.9"H with screw terminal input/output connections and mount to standard TS35/7.5 or 15 DIN rails. Price is $209 each/10. ASTRODYNE, Taunton, MA. (800) 823-8082.
