Locking Plug And Connector Suits Industrial Lighting Apps

May 1, 2000

Six 20A NEMA locking devices offer wide use in industrial and stage-lighting applications. The devices have durable Nylon housings that provide excellent impact resistance, and the ends are beveled so they don't catch on stairs, equipment or sharp edges. And the oversized mechanical clamp traps the incoming cord against the rear of the housing for an exceedingly strong cord grip that eliminates strain on the terminals. Design features allow fast installation, including wire entrance holes that are close together, terminal screws in the open positions, redundant color coding and extra room for easy clamping of the cable jacket. Available ratings are 277V, 480V and 600V.
