Yellow LEDs Glow Brightly

With luminous intensities up to 23,500 mcd, the AYL yellow LEDs are targeted for applications such as traffic management systems, portable equipment, cellular and cordless phones, indoor message signs and illuminated switches. The devices are supplied in surface-mount P4, 5-mm round and elliptical package styles. Viewing angles are 15°, 30°, 40°, 70° x 40°, 90°, 110° x 50°, and 120°. The LEDs are fabricated in AlGaInP semiconductor technology and emit at 594 nm (yellow). They are also available in 632 nm red color. Price for yellow LEDs is $0.15 each/5,000.
