Targeting portables, the AS3676 lighting management unit integrates ambient light sensing, dynamic luminance scaling, 13 current sinks, a step-up dc/dc converter, charge pump, an ADC, and a programmable LDO regulator. Other features include automatic dimming, pattern generation, operation from a 3V to 5.5V supply, an operating temperature range from -30°C to +85°C, and an audio-sync function.
