Associated Research Inc., Lake Forrest, Ill., recently announced its 2002 schedule for regional seminars. The 2002 seminars will focus on new technology that is now available in the Product Safety Testing industry. "AR is the only company in our industry that offers these extensive educational programs. It is important for customers to understand the new technology that is now incorporated into today's electrical safety testers. As the industry leader in electrical safety testing AR felt an obligation to provide this type of informative seminar," said Joe Guerriero vice-president and general manager.

The seminar provides an overview of recent technology developed in today's electrical safety compliance testing. Technologies discussed in the course include developments in the verification of electrical safety testers and the use of a GFI circuit in electrical safety testers. The course will also discuss European Norm specification 50191, the advantages of automating electrical safety compliance testing instruments, and performing functional run tests.

This seminar is applicable to a wide range of manufacturers and service companies of electrical or electronic products. Specific individuals who may benefit from this seminar include those responsible for regulatory compliance and safety certification of their products including engineering and design managers, production line and quality managers, and those responsible for specifying and installing electrical safety testing instruments.

These regional seminars are being offered in eight major cities throughout the United States. Visit AR's web site at http://www.asresearch.com/seminar for details on specific seminar dates and locations. To have signing up as convenient as possible visitors are encouraged to register online.
