Plastic-tubing manufacturer, NewAge Industries, Southampton, Pa., has been awarded a $1 million solar-energy program grant from Pennsylvania's Dept. of Community and Economic Development.

Plastic-tubing manufacturer, NewAge Industries, Southampton, Pa., has been awarded a $1 million solar-energy program grant from Pennsylvania's Dept. of Community and Economic Development. The money will help fund the purchase and installation of a 1-MW rooftop solar-panel system that will provide more than 50% of the company's energy needs, and save money while pursuing green initiatives.
