The Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) focuses on the practical and applied aspects of power electronics. This year APEC was held in Orlando, FL, Feb. 5-9. APEC provided something for everyone involved in power electronics, including:

• OEMs that employ power supplies
• Designers of power supplies, motor drives, and associated power electronic systems
• Designers of alternative energy systems that employ power electronics
• Suppliers of passive and active components intended for power electronic systems
• Technical support engineers working with power electronics systems
• Marketing and sales personnel dealing with power electronics
