The RNCH is a high power version of Stackpole's RNCS series of anti-corrosive passivated nichrome thin film chip resistors. The RNCH offers the power rating of the RNCS0805 in the 0603 size and similar power upgrades for the 0805 and 1206 sizes. This allows the RNCS to be used in many more designs and makes it an ideal replacement for high power tantalum nitride based chip resistors which are typically much more expensive. The RNCH is available in resistance values from 25 Ω up to 1MΩ in the 1206 size and can achieve tolerances down to 0.1% and TCR's as low as 15 ppm.
Pricing for the RNCH varies with size, resistance value, tolerance, and TCR and ranges from $0.02 to $0.15 each in full reel quantities.
