Texas Instruments wants you to know your contributions as engineers are highly appreciated and to make that point the company is running a series of short videos that provide a funny look at what the world would be like without those contributions.

Texas Instruments wants you to know your contributions as engineers are highly appreciated and to make that point the company is running a series of short videos that provide a funny look at what the world would be like without those contributions. It’s also soliciting ideas for new videos, with the incentive of possibly winning one of 10 Flip video cameras to be given away.

Three videos are already up at www.ti.com/thanks and available for viewing or forwarding. You can also share your thoughts on a favorite product that you are appreciative of or join the Thank an Engineer Facebook Fan Page. Deadline for entries is Dec. 31, 2008 and winners will be announced around Jan. 30, 2009.
