Power rectifier available in hot plug version

    May 3, 2010
Pioneer Magnetics Inc. (PMI) announces an expansion of its 10 kW Rectifier family of power supplies.

Pioneer Magnetics Inc. (PMI) announces an expansion of its 10 kW Rectifier family of power supplies. PMI’s PM36220BP-8P is now available in a hot plug version. With power factor correction and a 5 x 5 in. package, this super high power density rectifier is designed for supporting standalone or N+1 redundant power applications.

The single rectifier provides continuous full output power for operating temperatures of 0° to 50° C. A standard 3U, 19-in. power shelf can also provide up to 30 kW of system power or 20 kW of redundant power. Forced internal air-cooling is built-in when electrical overload production is required. Other output voltages are available such as 28, 40, and 48 V, as well as 240 Vdc.

The 10 kW rectifier comes with a variety of standard features and options such as Fully Floating Output, Over Current/Over Voltage Protection, Remote Sense, Over Temperature Protection, up to 92% efficiency, as well as Internal Isolation Diodes. Custom features and options are also available.

For more information, contact Pioneer Magnetics Inc., 1745 Berkeley St., Santa Monica, CA 90404. Phone: (800) 269-6426.
