VHDCI Product Line Expands

Nov. 1, 2001

Double-stack receptacles and slim-line plugs are the latest additions to the company's very high density cable interconnect (VHDCI) product line. The double-stack receptacles allow users to quadruple the amount of I/O pins within an existing PCI bracket envelope. They are available in a 136-position design. The slim-line plugs allow the back-to-back stacking of cable assemblies that mate to the receptacle. They are offered as an individual plug kit or as part of a value-added cable assembly and can be used in single- or double-stack receptacles.
