Position Sensor Is Self-Amplifying And Self-Contained

Nov. 1, 1998

A completely self-contained displacement measurement system, Series DDCP transducers require no auxiliary signal conditioning. Available in five ranges for measuring displacements of from ±0.1" to ±2.5", the sensors are constructed of corrosion resistant stainless-steel and the spring-loaded shaft assembly allows mounting in any position and is unaffected by being clamped in gauging fixtures. Overall accuracy is better than ±1% and voltage output is directly proportional to the linear movement of the shaft. Operation is from low voltage dc supplies or batteries.
