Long Frame Patch Bays Seek Broadcast Applications

Sept. 1, 1998

With 48 or 52 jacks, LF (long frame) Series patch bays come in four colors to provide a pleasing appearance and instant verification through color-coding. The assembly is mounted in a heavy-duty machined aluminum extrusion that, along with rigidity, provides a strain relief bar on the back to help preserve solder points. The bays are available in red, blue, silver and black. BA Patch Cords for all 1/4" long frame patching systems are also available. They consist of a quad-core, twin-conductor, low-noise, high-conductivity, shielded PVC cable. And the patch cords are fitted with a three-conductor nickel-plated brass BA jack plug and come in red or black colors and 12-, 18-, 24-, 36- or 48-inch lengths.
