Modular Jack Exceeds Category 6 Specs

July 1, 2000

When used with approved cabling, the Giga-Channel Mini-Jack TX-6 modular jack exceeds all proposed Category 6 industry specifications and meets FCC Part 68 Subpart F. The jack features the GIGA-TX termination method which speeds installation and reduces conductor untwist to provide superior performance exceeding 250 MHz.
The GIGA-TX termination style is reported as quick and easy to assemble using a forward motion termination method that reduces stress on critical subcomponents for added reliability. The jack can be easily terminated without the use of a punchdown tool.
