May 1, 2000

Specifically targeting consumer applications such as CD and DVD players, the PCM1737 24-bit, delta-sigma D/A converter samples at 192 kHz. By using the company's proprietary "Enhanced Multi-Level Delta-Sigma" modulator, the DAC's audio dynamic performance is said to be improved and jitter sensitivity reduced. Special functions include digital attenuation, mute, and zero flag for each channel. The DAC comes packaged in a 28-lead SSOP and operates on dual 3V digital and 5V analog power supplies. Pricing is $4.15 each/1000, with delivery from stock.
