New Series Of Press-Fit Connectors Target CompactPCI Applications

Housing 55, 95, 110 or 125 signal contacts arranged in 5-pin rows plus shield, the 8071 Series of Multi-Line Module 2-mm hard-metric press-fit connectors meets CompactPCI/IEC 1076-4-101 specs. They are suited for use as P1-5/J1-5 connectors in CompactPCI systems, with the 95-pin version also usable as P0/J0 connectors in VME64 extension formats. The connectors are rated at up to 1A and 250V and are said to give vibration- and corrosion-resistant connections.
