Connectors Prevent Accidental Opens

Aug. 1, 2000

The Crimplox range of single-poll, cable- to-pin connectors offer extremely high retention forces up to 510N with very low contact resistance and voltage drops at high current levels in excess of 37A. Constructed of gold-plated brass, these hollow connectors employ a double-barb profile that locks the connectors on to any straight feature-less contact pin or feedthrough. Specifically designed for pins with cross-sections between 1 and 4 mm, the connectors are secured using a hand tool that grips the shoulder to draw a locking ring over the double barb, compressing and locking it on to the pin. Regular stranded cable can be attached to the opposite end of the connector using a standard crimping tool, creating an inspection hole for visual verification of the correct cable insertion.
