cPCI Power System Saves Precious Space

April 1, 2001

Designed to save real estate on CompactPCI backplanes, the cPCI 550 power systems are offered as an alternative for the 48 Vdc input power system and are said to be the industry’s first such system to use the PCI chassis mounting configuration with a maximum output of 2,200W.
The system mounts under the chassis as opposed to plugging into the cPCI backplane, which takes up space. Input voltages range from 36 to 72 Vdc with a quad output of 550W. Price starts at $321 each.
