High-Performance HDSL2 Transformers Are Tiny

April 1, 2000

With a footprint of 0.65" x 0.675" and a height of just 0.35", the H27650-A and surface-mount H27695-A HDSL2 transformers are said to be among the smallest devices available of its kind. The HDSL2 magnetics are engineering for minimum dc resistance and very low leakage inductance. Primary inductance with and without bias is stable from -40°C to 85°C. Return loss is only 13 dB to 15 dB at 320 kHz and typical longitudinal balance at 40 kHz is rated at 65 dB. All parts are designed to meet UL 1459 and UL 1950 requirements. Pricing is $1.80 each/10,000.
