Reverse Path Amp Sets Sights On Residential Gateway Apps

Nov. 1, 2000

Targeted for residential gateway and IP telephony applications, the ARA3000 reverse path amplifier compensates for noisy reverse paths and allows operators to remotely diagnose and isolate noise ingress. In a cable system, the device is said to be able to amplify signals from the house, ensuring reliable upstream data transmission even over a "lossy" cable system. Pricing is $7.75 each/1,000.
